Probably the busiest of the Austin area stores. You won't get a recording when you call, though sometimes, when they're busy you might be on hold for a bit. The parking lot and yard are very small for the amount of business they do. It's usually packed between 7:30 am and 10 am, so expect a bit of a wait for materials in the yard. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. There are definitely some improvements that can be made, but overall better than the box stores.

Very busy and short staffed, but you would hardly notice this. Its very rare for a customer to have to wait behind more than 1 person. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to make a customer happy. No automated phone system. When you call you get a live person right away. If they dont have what you need, they will find who has it or order it for you.
It needs to be said, this is a building supply store. It has supplies for repairs and building things, not decorative materials.
