Utter disgust at lack of professionalism and treatment. Wrote in to the finance manager and got a quick response. Replied a day later telling him i WILL be there in the morning. NO RESPONSE RECEIVED. Upon arriving after the two hour drive i was welcomed politely and asked to take it for a test drive (mind you it was on fumes and had to wait for it to be fueled up). As i waited another couple showed up, about 30 minutes after i had arrived. I told the salesman/finance manager i would like to purchase the truck, i have cash in hand for down payment. He quickly told me they have ran my credit and i am approved for the truck. In the same breath he also told me he had another man set up for an appointment and has been for the past week and that he would get the first shot at it. I understand that, here's what numbs my mind. If the truck is already all but sold, why run a hard inquiry on someones credit? Why lead them on? Why not be professional or man enough or have the decency or respect to tell someone before driving two hours there, spending two hours there, then driving two hours home that the truck is all but sold. I was told i would be given a good discount on anything else on the lot. I know you were looking at this football but i can sell you a basketball at a great price.... I would not and will not do business with this "establishment" and i strongly urge others to be very careful and flat out don't waste your time with them. I had little to no credit and Campbell Auto Sales was able to get me financed with a great bank at a super interest rate. I am so happy with the service I received and would recommend this dealership to everyone. I know I will be back.
