Provided by YP.comVery friendly staff. They were very patient with my new puppy (four months old at the time) being a bit energetic. He even offered me some pointers throughout the day. Birds were tough but we found all we paid for and a couple extra from other fields. Sat around afterwards and talked hunting, birds were all cleaned well and packaged with very minimal turnaround time. Checked in on us several times on the ATV as it was very hot that day. Excellent experience. Will be going back as soon as the snow is gone and taking new hunters with me. A+.

Provided by YP.comMy expereance at McCollum's have been great. Terry and Theresa are careing and gracious hosts. Terry trained my Gremanshorthair,Sam, 4 years ago, and did a wounderful job. Sam has been an awsome dog. The habatat and birds are first rate. I would recomend McCollum's to anyone looking for a great expereance. I have hunted at preserves in Colorado,Utah,Idaho, and North Dakota and I find McCollum's at the top of my list.

Provided by YP.comThis is our 13 year of hunting at McCollum's. Over the years we have taken several hundred clients and friends to hunt pheasants at McCollum's. We have always been treated well and Terry and Theresa really know how to take care of their guests. In fact, several of our clients have booked thier own hunts after their McCollum experience with us. If you are looking for a great experience with truly wild conditions, you should try McCollum's. Terry and Theresa and their guides are top shelf! I also used Terry's expertise to train a gun shy dog. I can tell you, she turned out to be an exceptional dog with Terry's help. Terry and Theresa are true professionals when it comes to game preserve hunting and dog training and you will have a quality experience with them. No one will work harder to assure your experience is five star!

Provided by YP.comI would definitely not recommend McCollum’s Hunting Preserve. By far the worst hunting experience and experience in life I’ve ever had! Terry needs a lesson on customer service and about being a professional/business owner. Treated us like dirt and that’s probably an understatement. Not sure how the place stays in business to be honest with you. I would recommend Long Lake Lodge in Brandon MN or Section 17 Hunting Preserve in Buffalo ND, they both truly appreciate the business. What a terrible day at McCollum’s, because of Terry!!
YP said I had to rate the business at least "1" star I guess...but it would be negative if it was an option!

I wouldn’t say it was an unreasonable demand. Our grandfather was taken to the emergency room by ambulance and then put in the ICU unit the day before we were suppose to hunt. Simply asked Terry if we could reschedule to the following weekend because we didn’t know what was going on with our grandfather. Doesn’t seem unreasonable to me. I would think most people would understand. I’ll admit I was very upset on the phone and I was rude on the phone but when we arrived I did not have a chip on my shoulder and we were polite. On the phone Terry was not polite. Not sure how Theresa can post the info as she was never included in the phone conversations. My girlfriend was included in the phone conversations and can vouch for the rudeness. ‘Those’ that observed the situation? There was nothing to observe as all the bantering was done over the phone and not in person. Like I said the day of the hunt the three of us hunting were polite and so were the McCollum’s.
In Terry's defense, this guy arrived with a chip on his shoulder, making unreasonable demands for a very busy day. Terry politely told him they weren't possible to do, and he responded with a very childlike tantrum. As far as Terry's professionalism, he handled it very well. Those that observed the situation all said they would've asked him to leave!
