My wife and I went to dinner on a Wednesday right after happy hour. The dining room was mostly empty, and there were at least three servers working. We left after sitting for 15 minutes without receiving eye contact.

If they had at least taken a drink order, we wouldn't have felt so ignored.

This is a really poor start after just reopening. I will definitely let all of my friends know not to waste their time.



Really bad start to their grand reopening.

This was my first time to the Mint to have dinner. I thought it was going to be one of those grungy bars, but the inside was really nice- almost cabin/ranch style. Nice wood floors, fun saddle bar chairs, and open feeling. I decided to order the bowl of the black bean and chicken chili, because everything else on the menu was about $15 and up. That was my only complaint- too pricey. However, the chili was actually really good. Lots of black beans, flavor, and good texture. The bread they serve on the side went really well with it to dip in. For our appetizer we ordered the fried halibut sticks with a sauce that was a combo of mayo, spices, and dijon mustard. This also tasted great- the fish was really hot, and the cold dip was a nice complement. I would probably go back for a romantic night, but not during a normal day.
