I would never take my pet to this location again. I feel this vet is WAY over priced. They charged me over 400 dollars for my cats blood work. We took her in because she was losing weight very fast. We thought it would be a simple blood test. They ran several test without informing me. I would have never thought a simple blood test would have cost so much as to why I didnt ask. When I asked why they didn't ask me before charging so much their comment was most people don't care about the price . She said people get upset if they ask them before charging them. I cannot believe that. Everyone I know that lives in Bellaire is not rich by no means. Paying out 400 dollars is a lot of money. Also to add to the whole thing , they told me it would cost me 50 dollars a month for the medicine to keep my cat healthy . After a few months I took her to a vet in Traverse City and they only charged me 12 dollars a month to care for my cat. I was also informed I didn't need to have all the tests done and Bellaire Animal Hospital ripped me off. I took my dog there as well and he had to be put under for surgery. I picked him up at 4pm. He was still lifeless until 8am the next morning. I was worried all night long because I could not get him to wake up. His tongue was hanging out all night long. I was so worried. The vet in TC told me they gave him to much anesthetic. I will never recommend going to this vet.
