Provided by YP.comI don't know what else I can do to get the mailman to pick up my outgoing packages. When I had contacted USPS recently about my problem, I was told to schedule a pick-up, which I did yesterday for today. I even received an email with a confirmation number for my scheduled pick-up. When I got home today from work, my outgoing package was still in my mailbox. The mailman had ignored my package and stuffed my new mail into my mailbox.

Provided by YP.comI need to set up an appointment for a passport and the phone is either busy or no one answers. I know one other person who had the same problem. Not sure what I'm going to do.

Provided by YP.comI need to renew my children's passports. For the last two days, I tried calling the Bellaire Post Office to make an appointment, and each time the line was busy. So, my husband took some time off this morning to get this done. With all of my paperwork clipped together and the fee in my purse, we waited for the office to open at 9. At 9:07, this lady came to the door, and opened it into my son. There was no "Oh sorry!" or "Excuse me!" Just a roll of the eyes and a glance down at my paperwork. With a smug expression, she said, "If you do not have an appointment for the passport office, we will not be serving you today." I said, "I have been trying to call your office for two days now and each time, the line was busy. Could you tell me how I can get an appointment as soon as possible?" And she looks at me disdainfully and says, "Well, I am not aware of any phone problems and you can't renew a passport without an appointment. So, its up to you to figure out the appointment process." I understand that the post office has rules, and most of them are created to be as unaccommodating as possible (typical government BS), but the stunningly rude treatment this woman exhibited was so offensive,

Provided by YP.comThe window agents are helpful and courteous. However, the woman who is the manager of this PO is extremely rude to the people who come to get passports. If you are going to get a passport, you need an appointment. If you don't have an appointment, look out for her wrath. I've never seen an adult talk to people this harshly.
