If you need tree trimming, dead limbs removed, branches cleared from overhead lines, this is an ok company to hire. Obviously the owner and I had very different definitions of what "trimming" meant. He said he knew what was best. I had 5 beautiful full oaks and elms and the previous owner would never trim them. My neighbors all recommended him. $3,025 to butcher my beautiful trees. I lived in Texas for 8 years with no shade, the shade provided by my trees is what sold the house for me. Now I have no shade, very small chopped branches, and there is no aesthetic look to any of the trees. The owner said, "In the spring they will all fill out again." I should have spot spray painted ONLY those I wanted trimmed. I would have stood like a hawk watching them. I would NOT recommend this company! Ameren UE trims trees for FREE!! He asked, "That is probably the worst job I have ever seen!" If anyone wants to see their work you are welcome to check out the tree trunks that remain. So disgusted!!

If you need to cut down a tree, this service is great, staff is friendly, price is reasonable. However, if you need to beautify a tree by removing only the dead parts of it or just need it trimmed away from the house, this is not the service for you. Tree topping is never good for a tree healthwise as you will harm the tree in a big way, not to mention topped trees are really ugly. So know what you're getting into, know what you want exactly. Feeler Tree Service do not appear to have certified arborists on staff. Research proper tree trimming and ask questions. Drive around the neighborhood, and decide, do you like the looks of topped trees? Topped trees will affect your property values as well.
