Where to begin - My family of four was stranded on the Kansas turnpike. I called my brother for help and we thank God he found Mike's! Mike let my brother put our tow charge on his credit card by phone and was there in a matter of minutes. He let my whole family cram into his cab and for the distance he had to travel, the tow charge was extremely reasonable! The manager of the shop immediately began diagnosing the problem and kept the shop open two hours past close until my brother could get there to pick us up. A young mechanic stayed with us (wish I could remember his name) and acted like it was no imposition at all. The next day, the manager, Sam, gave us the bad news that our van needed a new engine and explained exactly what had happened. Since it was a 1999 vehicle, it was not worth the expense to replace the engine. Sam was as disheartened about our situation as we were and offered to help us get whatever money we could out of the vehicle. Sam and his wife, Angie, treated us like family. Sam let us leave the vehicle there at the shop, which allowed us to return to our home in Louisiana without missing work or paying for additional towing and lodging. We believe God works all things, even bad situations, for our good. We know that in meeting each and every person associated with Mike's, we definitely experienced God's goodness!

I had to get a vehicle out of impound with this man, and prices are ridiculous, also i was told there wasnt a key for the car (when upon getting to the car days later the key was right there in the consol) I went on a saturday and he wasnt there, and even on days where the place is closed they still charge the fee which i find to be ridiculous. This is highway robbery and something needs to be done about it.
Also upon getting my car never once did anyone check my id, title,insurance or anything so basically anyone could have went and picked up this ride, that by the way was parked in the back (boot) with the windows down and on a day it had rained. There is no fence securing the property so my stereo equipment and everything else could have been stolen.... smh Something is not right with this. Almost 400 dollars later (was picked up thursday night and because i was told no key i wasnt able to get it till monday) Yes $400 dollars and no security on property.... CROOKS.
