Hello, my name is Amber Irwin and I have a passion for helping people and their pets. I have loved the companionship of dogs since I was a little kid. My parents always found me taking the dog on adventures in the backyard, or dressing her up in my doll clothes. My love for dogs is still the same, but I have learned a lot more about them. I have my Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from the Pennsylvania State University. I specialized in companion animals, taking courses on health, training, nutrition, and behavior. I have worked as an assistant trainer at Manners N More since early 2012. I now also offer private lessons, and soon hope to add a therapy dog skills class to the Manners n More roster. I have experience with basic agility, basic tracking, basic obedience, rally, puppy basics, and training to help reactive dogs. I also volunteer with Nittany Beagle Rescue (NBR), and Happy Paws Happy Homes (HPHH). I walk the kennel dogs for NBR, run the NBR facebook page, train with them, and take the beagles photographs to help them get into forever homes. I photograph HPHH's National Pit Bull Awareness day every year, and transport dogs when I get the opportunity.
