Bellefonte Area High School serves students of grades nine through 12. It has several academic departments, such as business education, English, fine arts, health and physical education, mathematics, science and social studies. The high school offers various sports activities, including baseball, basketball, golf, soccer, cheerleading, cross county, football, gymnastics, softball, wrestling, swimming and volleyball. It offers several student organizations, such as student council, knowledge masters, yearbook and national honor society. The school has various clubs, including key, art, role playing, ski clubs. It provides foreign language classes in French and Spanish. The school s media center provides a variety of books, archives, newsletters, encyclopedias and dictionaries. It is located in Bellefonte, Pa., and is a part of Bellefonte Area School District.
