Brought a pair of exhaust manifolds in to have a simple resurface job done. I was running them on my car before I brought them in. The left manifold gasket was leaking so I decided to pull them and just have both resurfaced. I get a call saying the right side has a crack in it that is unrepairable. I go to pick them up and my jaw about hit the floor. The right side has a massive crack in it now. I got some b.s. story on how they can have coatings that hide the cracks etc. This crack is so big, if I pushed hard on the manifold I would be able to break it in half and it's thick cast iron! First and last time I will be using them. Look at the pics and you be the judge. Anyone who knows anything about engines knows this crack would have made one hell of a noise, not only that but I would have had to be blind to bring this manifold up to their shop and not notice that crack.
