I witnessed the owner being very rough with a small dog. She was smoking a cigarette while grooming it. I then overheard her laughing with someone how they hate animals, "but you do what you gotta do". She said. She had injured my pet to where she never walked right again. She was mad that my cat had bit her so I assume she had hit her or something to hurt her leg to that extent. And her skin was missing chunks where the blade got her real good.

I take her rescue dogs who are not always cooperative. Shirley may not be as polished as some other groomers, but she gets the job done. I've had other groomers return dogs because they "won't hold still". In my opinion, that's unprofessional. Shirley is a pro. I have never had her return a dog to me in anything less than pristine condition, and I have probably had 20 different dogs there over the years.
