Irina Polansky, PA-C, is a board-certified family medicine physician assistant who sees patients 18 years and older. She provides preventative care, including annual wellness exams, well-woman exams, vaccinations, pre-employment exams and school and sports physicals. Irina manages minor illnesses and injuries, cold and flu symptoms, and chronic conditions, including asthma, allergies, COPD, depression, ADHD, anxiety, diabetes, heart disease, obesity, osteoporosis and thyroid disease. She also treats minor skin conditions, provides injections to treat joint pain and prescribes weight management medications. Since she was young, Irina has had a strong interest in medicine. She enjoys working with her patients as part of a team and witnessing the positive impact of treatments on improving their lives. Irina is from Ukraine. When she isn’t caring for patients, she enjoys gardening, cycling, working out and working on various projects. Irina earned her medical degree in internal medicine from Zaporizhzhia State Medical University in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine and her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri.
