I live in Louisiana now but come to Belleville every year to visit family members (I grew here), and I live this place. First and last place I eat when I’m here. I highly recommend the home cooked meals and you will probably get a to go box. The waitresses are so friendly and nice and prices are reasonable. Wish I could take Main Street cafe back with me.

Well if it sounds to good to be true!!!!

This place serves grub in a grubbyblil place on main where casa meets prison cafeteria. It is run by thugs who barely speak english as a second language. I have been getting to go orders 3 x a week for six months now and 30% of the time they forget the gravy. Today they forgot it and some dude says "my bad" i speak to the lady on the phone who says to return it. When i returnn it untouched 30 minutes later after closing my business. She refuses to give my money back or replace my order. I am checking into my legal recourse.

We eat here for breakfast every time we get a chance. Great food cheap meal with that homey feel.
