He needs to work on his bed side manner. I wanted a doctor who cares about me and wants the best for me. Not a doctor who just dismiss what I have to say. The staff could be a little more friendly. The nurse that weighted me in only said one thing to me after calling my name. "SCALE " no hello, no hi, nothing.

My daughter has gone to Dr Girgis since she was diagnosed with JD. He saw her through her teen years and the birth of her child. When the family hit hard times, due to layoffs, like many Americans, she was able to get a medical card from the state, since she is insulin dependent. THE DOCTOR DOES NOT TAKE THE ILLINOIS MEDICAL CARD AND REFUSED TO SEE HER. She is now in search of a new doctor that will accept the card. She was heartbroken at the loss the doctor she had been with for long.

I find Dr. Girgis and his staff to be very easy to work with. I rarely have a wait in the office and everyone is friendly and helpful

I just spoke with with a very nice and more than helpful Nurse or Office Professional at Dr. Girgis's office I explained that our Dr. Schenewerk office had made an appointment with Dr. Girgis it was for August 5th and was there a chance for an earlier appointment. They found on e for July 23rd and would watch for any cancellation that worked around my sons work schedule. It was a blessing about twenty minutes later DAWN called and had a cancellation for the next day which is a Wednesday (my son's day off) at 11:15. Let's face it not all Doctors office's work with their patients' in such a caring way, she could tell by the urgency in this mothers voice. Thank You Dawn!
