West Jr. High School serves students in grades seven and eight. It is a part of Belleville Public School District 118, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. West Jr. High School s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. It also offers courses in computer education, home economics and industrial arts. The school supports a variety of extracurricular programs in art, music, band and physical education. In addition, West Jr. High School provides medical care, speech therapy, behavioral intervention, and guidance and counseling services to students. It also supports various sports activities, including baseball, basketball, softball, volleyball, and track and field.
