Martial Arts International is really organized in everything they do. The Instructors are serious and skill/task oriented, but they still take time to have fun and joke around with the kids, too! That creates a positive and successful learning experience. This school is truly our second home. We're glad to be part of this awesome family.

Theses classes are NOT for children. The instructors are good but there are weeks without classes. The value is not there, I wish I had never gotten locked into a contract with this organization.

Very bad control of young children during class. Also, the whole thing is about money. Do not go.

Martial Arts International has the family values I like our son to learn. Not only is he being a better athlete, he understands that this activity comes with making me and my husband happy and keeping up his grades at school. This is what MAI is all about! Most importantly, there are always enough Instructors on the floor that seemed to truly care about his progress and his personal development. There are several occasions where they have to give him some private lessons just to keep him on track during challenging times. I can honestly say, I LOVE MARTIAL ARTS INTERNATIONAL!

I love our student creed! I will develop myself in a positive manner and avoid anything that will reduce my mental growth and physical health. I will develop self-discipline and respect in order to bring out the best in myself and others. I will use what I learn in class constructively and defensively to help myself and my fellow person and never be abusive or offensive! Believe, Achieve…Become!

My kids already made some good friends from this school. Their focus and confidence is getting better and better. I love the MAI's triangle system and how they make sure that the kids actually earn their belts through technical, positive attitude and home work requirements. My kids are slowly beginning to understand how to set some goals and achieve them. MAI is the best!

There's really no way to describe an excellent karate school but Martial Arts International is truly an exceptional one for me. My goal when I enrolled was to learn practical self-defense techniques from a legitimate source. I continue to receive that and more! I really like the friendly environment but at the same time the rules are there to keep everything in order. The instructors are the best and very well qualified in what they teach. In my personal opinion, I consider this the best martial arts school in the Bellevue and Omaha Nebraska area

We have been pretty impressed with this school. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate our family's unexpected changes to keep us on schedule for progress. We love MAI!

You certainly have to question the ethics of a business that either recruits people to write positive reviews or writes positive reviews themselves to try and cover up any accurate negative reviews they receive. It looks fake, false, and misleading, especially when those reviews are either on the same day or just days apart. I personally know dozens of current and past customers of the MAI west location who have been or are extremely dissatisfied with the customer-no-good-service they are getting. I know a couple of instructors that are so dissatisfied with their experience with the management and ownership that they will never set foot inside a MAI facility again. Whether he realizes it or not, the owner does not treat his PAYING customers with the courtesy or respect that they deserve. It is a SHAME that it has taken this small set of negative reviews to open his eyes even a wee little bit. If he doesn't wake up and smell the coffee and start treating his customers like the PAYING customers they are, there won't be much business or many customers left.... and that is just the way it is.

MAI has been great for my kids. I love hearing the "yes ma'am" from them. The kids enjoy going to train and all the staff are friendly. My husband and I have also been impressed with the instructors. I would highly recommend this school to others- and have

Martial Arts International has been around since 1988. As a family, we have been pretty satisfied with their program and the Instructors knowledge of martial arts. All programs are backed-up with additional training tools such curriculum study guides and video access to their online university! The monthly discussion and topics such as park safety, stranger danger and more for our pre-schooler has been pretty helpful. Martial Arts International is a very positive environment for positive individuals! They can work with you in any possible way to assist you and your child. My kids attention span (focus) tremendously increased and they are now more responsible than ever! My wife and I are having a blast. We are learning, growing and kicking together and don't see ourselves learning from anywhere else. Martial Arts International is a very reputable school that have very qualified, friendly and professional Instructors and staff. Everything this organization does is top notch and well-explained!

Absolutely shady organization! I'm not sure if there are branches outside of the one in bellevue, but the Bellevue program are just money hungry and extremely shady! It is absolutely ridiculous that they charge to test for a higher belt and then require you to pay extra for different accessories because they change the "curriculum". If a child doesn't like going there anymore, there is no reason why we should have to continue to pay. It show goes to show how "focused" on money they are and not the program itself.
