Provided by SuperpagesThe family had a late dinner last night at VI the room temperature was about 60 and we saw several ladies crossing there arms to stay warm. Then our server did not come across very pleasant as we saw her raise her voice to an elderly man. Then she was very short to us as we'll. our server did not check on us and I had to raise my hand for refills then when we ordered pie she told us that only the fruit pies were free but she would substitute two other kinds for her lack of service. When we went to pay the lady charged us for the free pies. I asked her if the bill was correct and she said yes. Only after I asked her again did she indicate that it was wrong she struggled to correct the bill and could not figure it out I told her to forget the correction ($15.00) the experience last night was not good. We won't be back any time soon there are a other restaurants in Bellevue

We were in Omaha the last 2 years for the College World Series and ate both times at the Villiage Inn after each ballgame. The manager, Frank Rapier, remembered us from the 2010 series and welcomed us back in 2011 just like family. The food was excellent especially the pies and the service superior to none. It was usually late when we arrived and even at the late hour were treated just like it would be hours before they closed. The night we won the College World Series our special table was waiting with a victory note from the staff. We will be back next year! We could not ask for better food or service and friendlier, very special staff. Ann & Buddy
