Classic Chevrolet has been your Pittsburgh (Bellevue) Dealer since 1952. That's over 57 years in the automotive business. Looking around at today's competition, it seems there are just a handful of us active, multi-generational dealers left. Since my dad started the dealership on Lincoln Avenue in Bellevue all those years ago, much has changed, but what hasn't is that Classic Chevrolet is still one of the friendliest places to buy or lease a new or used car or truck in all of Pittsburgh and the tri-state area. He prided himself on taking care of customers like they were his own mother. We continue that tradition today. Our excellent reputation has extended our customer base to include all of the tri-state area. Please come in and let us show you how we're different. We promise you a great car buying experience and a friendly atmosphere that allows us to give you great personal service. Our motto is "Large enough to matter and small enough to care" for a reason. We're located at 500 Lincoln Avenue in Historic Bellevue. We are easily accessible right off Interstate 279 or Ohio River Boulevard only 5 minutes from Heinz field. Remember we want to be your Pittsburgh General Motors dealer. We hope to see you soon at Classic Chevrolet.

Bought a used 2013 Genesis.
Two major issues with purchase.
1- the dealership advertised a platinum warranty with the purchase. After purchasing the vehicle the manufacturer informed me there is no warranty. Since April 2018 I have been pursuing the dealership making good on the warranty they advertised as part of the sale.

2- prior to the purchase I pointed out that the tires looked bad and not safe. Salesman assured me that the tires were good and the car inspected.
After purchasing vehicle I took the car to have the tires inspected which failed for road safety. I was in a near road accident on a wet surface. State police and Harrisburg DOT had my car sent for another state inspection due to the bald tires. The tires failed again.Harrisburg DOT pulled the sticker of state inspection and would not release my car. The only way my car would be released is to pay for new state inspection and replace all four tires. I immediately notified the dealership who has yet to respond. The DOT assured me Classic passed the cars state safety inspection illegally.
I still have heard nothing from the dealership on the warranty they advertised or reimbursement for the tires I had to pay for which they illegally passed and jeopardized my safety and everyone else. I am pursuing legal action with the dealership and searching out other consumers who have purchased from Classic who were burned by them. A class action suit will be a separate filing once all info is gathered from other consumer. Be very cautious when purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership. Have the vehicle looked over by a certified mechanic / pa state inspection station before purchasing a used vehicle from Classic Chevrolet. The falsity of advertising a warranty that did not exist which I still do not have and placing my safety and everyone on the roads safety passing a car that was not safe for the road is unacceptable. I'm all about principle and will pursue this till the end.

I had a stalling, sputtering vehicle towed to the classic service dept, they called and said it needed a tune up, they said they drove it 30 miles and it's good now charged,$600 with tax, plugs, wires, distributor. I made it 1 block from the shop and had it towed home same thing.I called manager he said they didn't drive it 30 miles they drove it around town some? So Fixed it myself, a loose lead wire on coil was the problem, Classic said next time you bring it in, we will take good care and make up for the falsehood about driving it 30 miles that you were told an having to tow it home from our mechanic shop. I showed up for a scheduled 8 a.m appointment i made with for inspection a week later. They called and said no we cant do it for you, leave it, and it's going to be expensive. Needs emergency brake adjustment and a (mystery) brake line leaking (never loses fluid.?) And not going to do that today for sure. No mention of the previous falsehood and aggravation of towing it home from their shop, The truck is my lively hood and they know it. Thanks guys for making things right after the lies, towing and expense for the customer!? Not.
