I bought an engagement ring (someplace else) and after I proposed it turned out that we needed it half-size smaller. Most places I called would take 1 to 2 weeks to get it resized, charging anywhere from $45 to $120. Naturally, my fiancee was not thrilled about giving up her ring for so long. I found one place that would do it in 48 hours for $75. I called Bender's and they told me they could do it for $20 in one day. That would have been great but I was a bit suspicious so I first went in and checked the place out. The store is small but nice in good Bellevue commercial location (no shack as I originally feared). I talked to Steve & Scott, the two Bender brothers that run it and they made a good impression. Honestly, I would not be very excited leaving a $5000 ring anywhere even for a day, but Bender's offered to do the resizing job while I wait. It couldn't get any better than that so I brought the ring the next day and left after 45 minutes with ring resized for $20. These guys truly saved the day for me. Thanks!
