Many of us have had the experience of going to a high end store (furniture, fashion , etc.) and being dismissed by staff when they think you can’t afford or are not going to buy anything. They basically roll their eyes, purse their lips, lift their chins, and turn their heads away only to become instantly nice once they think you’re gonna plunk down some cold hard cash or run your credit card.

That definitely will not be your experience at The Standard, a furniture and design store, located at 10697 Main St. Suite 3 Bellevue WA. 98004. The owner/proprietor Jennifer Colley, consistently makes sure that everyone who walks through the door is genuinely greeted and wants to know if you’re new to the store or have you shopped with them before, then she extends her help or she will allow you to shop at your leisure soaking up the posh surroundings.

You can shop in comfort not being monitored by snooty sales people who won’t let you become acquainted with the labels and makers and quality of the furniture, lighting and accessories because they emit a constant heir that you can’t afford anything here, why are you wasting their time? Jennifer will happily educate you on any products in her store she wants you to be there, she wants you to feel welcome at The Standard. She wants to welcome you. Now get out there and shop!
