Provided by YP.comMy son and I were very comfortable here. The room was newly decorated and it had lots of space. We lived there for over a month. I would recommend the non smoking rooms only.

Provided by YP.comI would never reccommend this motel! We paid for a month in advance, and from the moment it was paid there seemed to be a disconnect from the hospitality. The front desk was aloof if not downright rude, the buildings smelled like cigarettes 24/7 and the rooms were small as matchbooks, and freezing! Also the curtains had cigarette burns. All in all, not a pleasant experience.

Provided by YP.comI discovered this place when I was staying at a motel next door trying to work and their Internet access kept going down. I called the manager to try to resolve the problem (I'm a computer IT guy) and he showed very little interest in helping me even though I had stated that the primary purpose I stayed there was to work and that required Internet access. After a while he just quit answering the phone when I called. Frustrated, and trying to find a solution, I could see the Coachman Inn next door and thought I'd walk over there and see if their Internet was working. The gentleman at the front desk checked and said theirs was working fine. He was so polite and considerate and the place looked more professional and better kept than the place I was staying at not to mention more amenities like the pool, jacuuzi, & continental breakfast, and of course the most important part, working wireless Internet access! With the importance of me being able to work, I was ready to bite the bullet and consider asking how much it would cost me to stay there and to my surprise it was more affordable than the place I was staying at! Since that time I have stayed at the Coachman Inn 7 times and they impress me more and more by their hospitality, considerate staff, and it seems like every time I stay there they've done something to improve the already great place. I will never waste my time calling any other motel, hotel, or inn from this point on. I have no idea why they aren't charging more for a stay here. I say "here" because once again I needed a nice quiet place with all the necessities I need close by, such as a great selection of restaurants within walking distance, a large 24-hr grocery store just down the street, and an on-ramp to Interstate-5 (I-5) just around the corner, and downtown Bellingham is about 1/2 mile away. I'm claiming this place as my 2nd home/office. If you are considering staying in Bellingham, WA start with the Coachman Inn first.
