It is an 18-hole championship golf course that is maintained for play throughout the year in the Pacific Northwest. Founded in 1912, it is the first golf course to open in the Bellingham area. The clubhouse was also built in 1912. Its staff organizes competitive and social golf events throughout the year for all members. Stock holding members of Bellingham Golf and Country Club elect a 13-member Board of Trustees. Each trustee serves a three-year term. The board elects a general manager to operate the club on a daily basis, including its pro shop. The Bellingham Golf & Country Club offers golf, dining, swimming and fitness services to its members.
