I did a silent auction through the Bellingham Herald and won 3 waxes. I called to ask about doing an exchange for a facial, the owner, Carol, said it was ok and that I had to pay the difference of $10 (facial=$70). I later realized the certificate totaled $120. I called and spoke to an employee about having it be an even exchange, the owner called back and told me in a rude tone that she was canceling my appointment because I was asking for too much and she was already doing me a favor in the first place. I told her that I was only asking for an even exchange for a facial (a $50 cheaper service!). She replied by saying she didn't have time for this and to take my certificate back to the Herald and get my money back because I wasn't welcome there and HUNG UP! I called back and she would not speak to me. I couldn't believe it! Worst customer service EVER!! I love the Herald and I know this has nothing to do with their service! I have now made an appointment through a friend’s recommendation at the Silver Reef Spa :)
