I strongly feel that my recent experience with Northwest Honda is worth sharing so here is the story:I was searching the internet for a good quality used Volvo S40 AWD for my 17 years old daughter. The best match came from Northwest Honda so contacted the dealership requesting a quote via the internet.I did not want to spend countless hours in a showroom talking about what the vehicle was worth & what the price would be... Instead, I did the majority of the work over the phone and email. Stephanie Akers (Internet Manager) was absolutely amazing. She understood that I would have to drive some 90 miles (from Seattle area to Bellingham) and she worked with me every detail of the transaction ahead of me actually seeing the car. It turned out that the car was in even better condition than expected so I asked to proceed with the paperwork and finalize the purchase. I was already prequalified for financing at a very good rate however Sam (from Financing) performed a courtesy check and found an even better rate. Even with “switching” financing to a different institution, I was in and out of the dealership in less than two hours.After finalizing the purchase, I found out that there was at least one other party that was interested in this car and perhaps willing to outbid my offer. I was very impressed with the fact that the dealer did not try to use the unexpected competition to their advantage and did not hesitate to honor the pre-negotiated price.This was the easiest car purchase I ever made. There was no pressure whatsoever. The whole process was transparent and absolutely honest.To me, the 90 miles drive to Northwest Honda in Bellingham was absolutely worth it.

Brought my car in for service and left paying less than quoted! Does not get better than that!

I'm very dissatisfied with the Honda Dealership in my hometown of Bellingham. I thought I buy local instead going to another city or county for my first Honda vehicle. I was going by all the fine reviews of the consumer reports of the Honda corporation and cars, I thought to buy one brand new before the year. I purchased a 2009 Honda in November 0 2008 and the deal seem to go like molasses with the financing and I could not understand since I traded a 2003 Ford Focus in excellent condition and completly paid in full. I also had a Chevy Tahoe 2002 excellent condition and extended warranty, that had a loan balance. I gave $4,000 down CASH along with these two vehicles and no discount whatsoever on my purchase. I payed above and beyond what other dealerships were offering outside of Bellingham. I payed more than the sticker price and did not even had "BAD CREDIT" as an obstacle for this type of treatment in buying HONDA for the first time. I do wish for other single parents, like myself,
