I have gone to Sterling's for several years and have been blown away every time at the work done at the shop and Sterling's way of doing businesses. A great story was when I was in high school and tight on money right before prom Sterling fixed up my car by putting in a new alternator and not charging me a dollar because he knew of my situation. If you're looking for a no bs mechanic shop this is the place to go. They also offer a student discount! Highly recommend!

Brought my 90 Honda in because it was stalling. Sterling told me that the ignition switch was going out. Replaced it at a cost of $350. Left his shop and did not make it 5 miles. As it turned out the real problem was the distributor. He would not stand behind his work. Do yourself a favor and take your car to Lynden Service Center , where they have a conscience and a volt meter.

My truck broke down while I was on a shopping trip with daughter and friends for school, we are from Canada. My truck was towed to Sterling's at night, the next morning he called me more than once to keep me informed and then decided to take it to a friends shop for repair because he could get a better quality part faster, he even drove my truck over there. Then he refused to take any money for all his efforts. He then called me in Canada on Monday to see if we got home okay and were satisfied with the work. Wow! I wish I could take all my vehicles to Sterling for repair all the time. I will recommend him to all my friends.

I have been a client of Sterlings for a long time. He honestly cares about his shop and has high standards of service. His mechanics are the awesome, friendly approachable and trustworthy. They also have a loaner car for customers if needed and will make sure your vehicle is taking care of in a timely manner.. Love these guys....
