Provided by YP.comI recently purchased carpet at Barton Carpets. I was treated like family. The staff was very friendly and helpful in answering all my questions. Installation went smoothly. The installers were very professional. I have recommended Barton Carpets to my neighbors, family, and friends. I would rate this company A+. I would definitely recommend them to you...

Provided by YP.comI’m not usually the type that writes these things, but I had such a good experience with Barton’s Carpets I just had to share it.
In our search for laminate flooring for our basement, my husband & I had visited no less than 6 carpet stores in the area when we went to Barton’s. We were greeted by a very upbeat (but in no way “pushy”) salesman, John. He was not only extremely helpful but amazingly respectful, referring to my husband and I as “sir” and “ma’am” throughout the whole process.
Once we decided on the flooring we wanted, John arranged for the installation a few days later. We received a phone call from the warehouse manager on the morning of our scheduled installation letting us know that the installers were on their way. Once Joe and his assistant arrived, they got straight to work. Joe was also very helpful in answering any and all of our questions, and he also referred to us as “sir” and “ma’am” all day. Once the floor was put down, it looked so flawless you would need a microscope to find any seams! Joe put the room back together, gave us a few pointers on cleaning the floor and even gave us a bottle of cleaner to try out.
Even after all was said and done, our salesman John called us to make sure we were happy with the product and the installation.
We will soon need to replace the carpet in our family room and we’ll be going straight to Barton’s!

Provided by YP.comI contracted Barton Carpets to replace the hardwood floors at my home after they suffered water damage. The owner, John Barton, went himself to my house to take the measures, provided a competitive quote and a reasonable finance plan. John spoke highly about his installers, to which honestly I did not pay much attention to at that time. They ordered the material and called me to set a convenient date to start the work. On the day they were supposed to start (Thursday), Endrigo (Barton’s installer) showed up at 7:30AM and introduced himself in a courteous way. I explained to Endrigo that I was leaving on vacation on Saturday morning so I needed for him to finish by Friday.
Endrigo started his work right away. I was amazed that even during demolition Endrigo was constantly cleaning the area and by noon the demolition process was over. To my surprise he managed to keep the house relatively clean. Endrigo worked through lunch non-stop until 9pm. At the endo of that day the first floor was 98% done and they started demolition on the second floor. The second day Endrigo showed up again at 7:30 am (how many vendors do you know that start this early ) and started right away. I saw him working through lunch again, offered sandwiches but all he ate was a banana while working. By 9pm the work was 98% complete, and he would have finished it but there was some more material that needed to be ordered. At 9PM I saw Endrigo cleaning and positioning the furniture where it was, I could not believe it. They left on Friday around 10PM and they did an awesome job, beautiful floors perfectly installed, he even provided advice about how to clean the floor.
I highly recommend him and Barton Carpets for any future project you may have.

Provided by YP.comI not only got a great deal on carpeting from Barton's, but our saleswoman, Carolyn, really knows her stuff and was so accommodating through the whole process. And when the installers came to put the carpet in, they moved my Christmas tree (twice!) so carefully I didn't lose one ornament! Now that's customer service!

Provided by YP.comA friend recently recommended Barton Carpets when we mentioned we needed carpet in several rooms of our home. The owner, John, was so helpful in "holding our hands" throughout the selection process and gave us a great deal on our carpet. The installation was unbelievably smooth and what a great job Ray and Jim did. We live almost an hour away from the store but would make the trip again and again. Very happy in Yardville, NJ!

Provided by YP.comDuring a recent interior redesign for a client, we needed to replace both carpet and hardwood floors for the project. After browsing several flooring dealers in the South Jersey area we came upon Barton Carpets. The salesman was extremely knowledgable and helpful to us and our client. Upon procuring a great price for the flooring needed, the installation was scheduled within days and installed perfectly! My business partner and I never expected such a flawless experience! Now if only the painting and woodwork had gone so smoothly!!

Provided by YP.comthis place is a joke. they sold me crap flooring at a high price, and 9 months later my floors still aren't finished. the owner makes promises he doesn't keep to fix things. the salesman told me point blank that the floors would stand up to my dog (17 lbs) and he said even if they didn't, they had a 10 year warranty, but he didn't tell me the warranty doesn't cover anything but disintegration basically. my floors were destroyed within two weeks from a 17 lbs. dog. i ordered rugs in january, and still have not received a phone call that they are in and this is may. i am now seeking legal relief. barton carpets got their money, but i still don't have my floors. i would never use them again or recommend them. you can get better quality floors and installation for less money at lumber liquidators or somewhere like that.
Dear sofie09, As this is the first we have seen or heard of this issue, we would like to clear this up. As we pride ourselves with our low prices and quality service, please know that had this issue been brought to our attention, it would have been dealt with in a timely basis. First of all, we are assuming you might be referring to wood flooring? Wood flooring is the softest and most vulnerable type of flooring. If there was a defect in the integrity of the flooring itself, you could have called us and we would have initiated a claim with the mill to make sure they made good on their product. Secondly, we most certainly would not have used "disintigration" as any basis for a warranty. As for your carpet issue, we have no idea why an order would take so long. Was is paid for? Although it has been nearly a year, we would still be happy to look into your issues if you would contact us. Thanks and have a great day!

Provided by YP.comI went into the store on a wednesday and talked to a salesmen, i told him i wanted a high quality, heavy carpet. he showed me some samples of basically junk, but i ended finding a sample that i liked and took it home to show my husband. my husband liked the carpet and the price was fine, even though we had a little trouble reading the handrwriting on the estimate (scribble) but we hadn't painted yet so when i returned the samples i told the sales lady that i would nee to hold off for a few weeks. well apparently the message never got back to the salesman because he called me 3 times a day for the next 2 days until i finally picked up the phone. i told him that the price was fine and that we needed to wait and the guy decided that we could get cheaper carpet. I have the money to spend just not the time to deal with pushy salesmen like this!
Dear roxygurl464, We are sincerely sorry for your unfortunate experience with your carpet purchase. Our salespeople are usually lauded for their professionalism and patience with our customers. We hope you will give us another chance in the future to prove our professional integrity! Thank you and have a great day!
