Little Belmont Cafe has been one of my well kept secret local eateries for quite some time. I visit them often because their service is 2nd to none (thank you for all the fresh coffee & refills, Jenny!), they serve a delicious breakfast / lunch with many, many options, including healthier options, such as egg white only scrambles or omelettes, large lunch salads— or swapping out salad or cucumber slice substitutions for their terrific hash browns (which I really, really miss, by the way). I would even give them credit for helping me to lose 125 lbs by keeping me on my extreme keto diet.

I notice the little details that make a difference and this family-owned cafe has them all.
Caring, sweet people that run the restaurant & take very good care of you!
No lines.
Plenty of outside & inside seating.
Clean—they’re always sweeping and cleaning everything (don’t let the older exterior fool you). They have a very, very loyal local following.
They are very close to Sutter Health’s medical center down the street and have easy handicap access, especially outside.
They’re also very reasonably priced compared to the majority of restaurants in the area.

They happen to have a side area with larger outside seating too, if you wanted to have a small company meeting or get together. Personally, I prefer the front patio seating area.

It’s refreshing to know that there are a few cafes left such as this in the Belmont / San Carlos area that allow me to refrain from always cooking and can still make me feel right at home.
