This was the worse experience of my life. This man came to our home and assessed the shut off valves my husband wanted installed. He said it was an easy job. No problem. Put us off for a month. On the day of the work, he arrived at 8 am but didn?t leave until 10:45. See, he came with the wrong tool and after multiple runs to the hardware store the tool he bought didn?t work either. He spent more time on the phone taking drama calls from some man yelling. At 4:30 pm he said he was almost done. I wish I would have asked him to leave then. But, here?s the best part. When we are past the dinner hour, my father-in-law questions this time he is spending. When I get home at 8 pm he mouths off to me about my father-in-law like he didn?t have a right to question this man. His kid said, ?he seemed like a nice man but today he is a jerk?. So if you take a chance on him, question nothing. He wanted me to pay from some scribbles in his note of. When I asked for an itemized bill, he went out to the van and yelled to his kid, ?she wants and itemized bill.? We don?t have rights To something like that. My itemized bill said labor $915. Parts $350. He broke a filter that he said he didn?t charge me for. Pretty sure I have no idea how I would know that. When I gave him his payment and told him I did not appreciate how he spoke Of my family, he yelled, ?you are crazy.? Now, this is the best part. He either turned the water on and saw that it leaked and didn?t want to deal with it or he never turned it on but when my husband came home, he discovered the water to the main shower is off. When he turns it on it is leaking...a nice leak. I?ll give him 5 stars on leaks. We ended up having two leaks. Learn from my mistake. Anyone can put there name on a work van and act nice when they first come to your home. However, use your public record resources out and check out the people you let in your home. The Wisconsin Circuit Court System will answer any questions about Ed Ray if you are still thinking of hiring him to do work for you.

Horrible, rude individual! Run away from him fast! Took 13 hours to do a job that other plumbers would have given 5-6 hours most. He original thought 4 hours. Took personal calls on my time. Complained when my family member questioned the amount of time he was taking. He was just hired to install shut off valves. He didn’t have right tool, my fault. He broke a filter, acted like it was my fault because he had to fix it. There was a leak after his work was completed. Never turned back on the water to the shower when he left. Annoyed when I asked for an itemized bill when he was showing me his scribble charges from a notebook. He talked poorly about us in which I could overhear. When I gave him his check for 13 hours of simple work and I explained I didn’t appreciate the way he spoke about my family, he called me crazy. Don’t let him in your home. This project was no big deal according to him but he sure took long enough to finish it. Had to leave several times to get parts. Waited a month for him to come do the work. Now I wish we would have just called someone else. Search for someone else. He is rude beyond belief. Complained to me direct when my father-in-law questioned the amount of time he was taking. Don’t we have that right as a consumer? It was just simple shut off valves to kitchen sink, laundry room, two bathrooms and hot water heater. Cost $1,250...oh but he didn’t charge when he was running for parts. Listened to him take drama calls from some man....pretty sure I paid for those personal calls. He started at 8 am. At 4:30 when he said he was almost done, I wish I would have had him leave and hired someone else. He didn’t leave my home until 10:45 at night. Totally disgusted on every level!
