Rose's Soul food Restaurant is a great restaurant to eat at. The atmosphere is fun, friendly and laid-back. It is a wonderful place for family and friends to go for delicious soul food, football games or a nice night out. The service is great, but I would advise calling ahead if you have a large order. I would recommend trying the catfish, chicken strips, chicken wings, fried okra, the Rose Burger, the bar-b-q rib tips and the smothered pork chops. The catfish is great deep-fried, it's crispy yet spicy and it doesn't taste fishy. The chicken strips are really crispy yet juicy. I recommend trying the chicken strips dipped in Clancy's sauce. It is a special spicy bar-b-q sauce that the bar tender Clancy makes. The chicken wings are crispy yet juicy like the chicken strips and are great with Clancy's sauce also. The fried okra is peppery yet crunchy and tastes delicious. The Rose Burger is a juicy burger that is named after the cook and owner Rose, of Rose's Soul food Restaurant. The bar-b-q rib tips are tender and sort of sweet from the bar-b-q sauce. The smothered pork chops are wonderful with the gravy all over them and the grilled onions. I would say my experience at Rose's Soul food Restaurant was wonderful. If you are looking for great soul food like they have in the South, I would say visit Rose's Soul food Restaurant.
