We have an iron fence in front of our church in downtown Parkersburg that is 100 years old. We were preparing to clean and paint the fence when we noticed that one of the original cast iron rosettes was missing. I tried several sources to locate an exact replacement with no luck. I was aware of Pioneer City Casting, but always assumed that they only made parts for commercial industries. Out of desperation I went there anyway. I met with Chris and told him what I needed. Much to my surprise, he said that they could make the part! The new rosette was made when he said it would be, and for a very fair price. In fact, the quality and detail of the new part is such that you can't tell it from the original. With all of the trouble and controversy in the world these days, this experience shows that there are still good people out there doing kind deeds.
