Cemetery looks run down. I called right after Halloween to ask when I could put Christmas wreaths on my family's grave the man said after Thanksgiving. So I made a point to go there and there was wreaths on graves but it was wreaths purchased from them. I went back a couple days later and put my wreaths in place. Why would they expect the families to go decorate their loved ones graves in the freezing cold. I wish I could move my family. The people that own and run Highland should not. They have no compassion what so ever for the living or the dead.

Cemetery is very poorly taken care of. Some graves have dropped over 6 inches and have never had any more dirt added. Flowers from the funeral laid on the grave for over 2 weeks after when it states that they will be removed after 3 - 5 days.

All agreements with either funeral homes or cemeteries are IN WRITING. These agreements clearly state all terms and you sign these agreements. Nothing about final arrangements with a cemetery is a verbal agreement.



Your review fails to mention where you fell short and what you failed to read when you signed on the dotted line. Don't blame the cemetery for a written agreement which you signed.

The management lied to my family about the burial. The led us to believe she would be interned the same day, but when we arrived from the church they had not even dug the hole and told us it was too late to do it that day. We ended up having to leave my grandmother in the chapel on site overnight. Family from around the country that traveled for the funeral where not allowed to pay their last respects graveside.
