The Health and Human Services Department is administered by the government of Beltrami County in Minnesota. The department is responsible for administering social, child support and financial assistance programs under the supervision of the state government. It provides protective services to at-risk children, adults and senior citizens, as well as individuals with disabilities. The Health and Human Services Department also offers child support services to custodial and noncustodial parents. In addition, the department assists low-income families and individuals to meet their basic needs. Its advisory committee acts as a liaison between constituent groups and the department.
