Stanger Surveying Company was founded in April of 1987, by Lester J. (Joey) Stanger, Registered Professional Land Surveyor State of Texas No. 2111. Our company was established to provide professional land surveying services in the transportation, engineering, real estate, mapping, energy and utility sectors. In January 2007, the company was reorganized under the name of Stanger Surveying Tyler LLC and Shane Neally, RPLS and Preston Maxfield were named as partners of the firm. We have professional surveyors licensed in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kansas and Colorado. Our staff is large enough to handle any size project. We are utilizing over $1,000,000 worth of the latest surveying technology and equipment to accomplish our client's professional surveying needs. Stanger Surveying has long recognized the importance of maintaining a highly educated work force. Mr. Stanger graduated from the Tyler Junior College Surveying and Mapping program in 1974. Since this time he has continued very close ties with the program by serving on its advisory board for nearly 25 years. He was instrumental in the development of a partnership agreement between Tyler Junior College and the University of Texas at Tyler (UTT) to develop the 2 + 2 degree program. The students obtain an associate's degree in surveying and mapping at TJC and then transfer to complete their bachelors at UTT. Our clients include: oil and gas, pipeline, power and telecommunications, renewable energy, mining, engineering, construction, Texas Parks and Wildlife, multiple districts for Texas Department of Transportation, and Texas Facilities Commission. We have and will continue to uphold the highest level of professionalism, quality services and products. Our motto is " Professional Service, On Time, On Target" As a surveying company we are held to the standards set forth by the various state boards of land surveying in the states that we practice. It is our goal to meet or exceed these standards.
