Provided by YP.comMy husband and I are new to trailers. I picked the first one and was more interested in size, rather than our needs, fearing that it would be difficult to operate. When Big Country found out we weren't totally happy with our selection, they had us come back in and got us into a trailer that we love. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. And the guy who did our walk through was especially helpful, again, going the extra mile to show us how everything worked and even some driving tips. We highly recommend Big Country RV. Provided by YP.comMy wife and I were in the market for a new trailer, as our current trailer was over 25 years old. We visited a couple of the local dealerships and could not find exactly what we were looking for. We went to the Sportsmen show last month and Big Country RV was there with a huge selection of trailers.
Our salesperson, Ron Allen was very knowledgeable and helped the transaction go very smoothly. We feel we got a great price and they even took in our 1988 trailer in trade.
The main reason I am writing this review is I received a call today from Big Country just asking how everything is going with my new trailer. It shows in this day and age, service after the sale actually exists. They will be my business for years to come and referrals as well.

Provided by YP.comI am horribly upset by the service I have received at the Redmond store. I bought the RV from you so I wanted to support you but I feel that your organization lacks the ability to truly take care of the customer. When I bought the used RV there were several small items that we discussed prior to purchase to be repaired. These were agreed upon and I was told they would be fixed. Upon arrival none of the items were done . So I waited and had them fixed. They may seem minor to you but I believe in doing what I say. So this was lesson one for me. I have had the RV there a few times for weatherization and asked for other small things to be done. They never get done! So lesson number two. Then this year I drop it off prior to the freeze of November. I know it was the day before the freeze but I was told drop it off and we will take care of it. Little did I know it was going to take a week to touch the RV! Well by that point everything was frozen and there were several items broke. The water heater being the biggest along with the shower head. I was called to come pick up the motorhome but there were a few things that were broke. You were willing to fix them but at the price tag of $974.00!!! If it was my business I would have communicated this PRIOR to drop off. At that point I asked if you would take some ownership in the issue and split it. I was told that any RV dropped off November 10-11th was not eligible for any assistance. So this was lesson number three for me. And just like baseball three strikes and you are out. I will never have any service, buy any parts, refer a person, or by another RV from you. It is truly unfortunate that it has come to this but I have been honest in my conversations with you and have gotten no where. The only power I have left is to not give you my hard earned money to waste!
Thank you for sharing your story. I am glad we were able to speak and resolve these issues. Big Country RV looks forward to working with you again.

Provided by YP.comI got Pro-Packed by Big Country RV. I could write a novel with all my terrible experiences while purchasing a 5th wheel here.
Unauthorized add-on that cost 25% of the base value of the unit (they even took the liberty of getting my loan approved for the higher amount, thanks for that!), and several LP checks and a disconnected gas leak detector. Good thing my family didn't die from their neglecting to perform STATE MANDATED gas leak checks!

Redmond's service dept. tried to sell me a $975.00 replacement AC unit. When the service advisor had never stepped into my trailer. I turned down the work and agreed to pay the bill. I came in 2 days later to pick up the trailer to find my AC unit hanging from the wires and my entry step wiped out. They rehung the AC unit while I waited and I told them I would fix the step. (I didn't want them touching the trailer any more) Not trusting the Service Dept. a friend and I started looking into the AC unit our selves. After replacing a .02 cent female ele. connector the AC unit works great. this took us 20 minutes to repair. I'm only writing this because I also place a call to the CFO of Big Country with his word of calling me back with in 24hrs. Well that was over 3 days ago. So as you can see they don't follow through with what they say and that starts at the top management. With a management and service dept. like this be very careful

Provided by YP.comThis is a online beware alert for anyone contemplating doing business with Big Country Rv, Redmond, Oregon.
I had a horrible experience. Promised rv would be kept plugged in and was not. Batteries went dead. Said it was my fault. Batteries had to be replaced. Landing gear and slide out operated by only battery power when I was promised that they would keep it plugged in when operating the landing gear and slide out. Charged me $500 for batteries, $175. for landing gear parts plus labor. None of which would have happened if it had been operated as promised. I had been told by other rv facilities that with this landing gear it was only to be used with AC Power on, or plugged into the truck and the engine running. They promised they would do that. He understood he said.
Told that the technicion said the main lights wouldn't go off. I told the supervisor that there was a light switch on the wall. They said it only dimmed the lights when they used it. When I asked, did the tecnician leave the main door open when doing the work and trying to turn the lights off? He didn't know. When I then said that the lights automatiocally stay on when the main door is open, he didn't respond. Sure enough, that was it. He kept the door open and didn't know how to fix the light. And these people represent themselves as the dealer for the manufacturer of my Rv???
Parts were ordered wrong, and they said it was Keystone's fault for shipping the wrong part. The rv was with them for a month when the job was only to be for two or three days. And that was after all the parts were shipped in and they were ready to do the work. Again,????
Trying to get a readable bill was a problem because of addition errors from their service manager. Three different times I got three different figures. Handwriten then handwriten over, then when paying told it was a different figure because of their error. Everything had to be scrutinized. Very difficult to get a straight answer.
Updates to work that I was supposed to be advised of, never happened. I had to constantly call them to find out what was going on. Promised that procedures would be followed, simply didn't happen.the answer I got was:
They forgot! I shouldn't have been told that! Then again, I forgot.
Charged $125 for a battery, and was told that it was a competitive price for the area, then found it sold down the street for $80. One thing after another and when I brought it up to them, they got mad at me??? Again, just a very expensive mistake in picking Big Country Rv and a very frustrating experience. I will never deal with them again.
