Our daughter has been attending Mariann's class for 4 years now. Over the course of the last year, and after a family tragidy for Mariann, the teachers personality has become very negative. I have spoken with 3 people now and from my own personal experiance can testify that Mariann is no longer fit to be a teacher, she yells at the students, speaks down to the kids and has now ruined music for our daughter. This is supposed to be a positive and fun experiance, a child should never leave a piano lesson in full tears because her teacher says so many hurtfull things.I would not recomend her as a teacher any longer until she has seeked help or counsiling for herself. She was once a very good, firm but fair teacher. Not any longer.
