My wife and I attended an Ital...

My wife and I attended an Italian family reunion dinner the day after Christmas here.

We had @35 people total



Bev and her wait staff greeted us as we arrived then she she went to the kitchen to cook.

And can she cook!!



Each table started with antipasta platter including Caprese Baguette and olives



I went for the Stuffed Mushroom for an entree with a house salad.

A meal in itself.

A large portabello mushroom stuffed with homemade italian sausage and

topped with mozzarella cheese. The taste was excellent but a little dry.

Id suggest mixing the mozzarella into the sausage before baking.



My wife went with the Pesto Shrimp which was very good but the sauce was

a little too heavy on the broccoli for her.



The best plated (appearing) and tasting dish at our table was the Chicken Marsala

The sauce was just right and the mushrooms set off the chicken.



Portions were large as we all past on dessert.

Lemoncello was available but no grappa for an after dinner drink.



All in all a great dinner and a great time. Id go 4 1/2 stars out of 5
