History Bill is a member of the Vermont Bar and is admitted to the United States District Court for Vermont. He is licensed as a certified public accountant in Vermont and Massachusetts. Before forming his own firm, William J. Fisk, PLC, he was associated with Witten, Woolmington & Campbell a highly respected Vermont law firm where he practiced in estate planning through use of sophisticated estate planning techniques, taxation, formation and governance of business and non-profit organizations, bankruptcy and family law. Bill was a co-founder and president of Fisk, Reed & Love, P.C. a highly regarded local accounting firm which he helped found in 1990 after 10 years as a partner with KPMG and predecessor accounting firms in Springfield, Massachusetts and Albany, New York.

Professional Activities Bill makes frequent presentations on estate, gift and fiduciary income taxation, probate procedures and fiduciary accounting matters for the National Business Institute providing continuing education to attorneys, accountants and other professionals. He has served as an adjunct faculty member at Massachusetts State and Community colleges. Professional Memberships Bill’s professional memberships include the American Association of Attorney-CPAs, the American Bar Association, the Vermont Bar Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Vermont Society of Certified Public Accountants.
