Horizon is an ISP (internet service provider) who has never had an after hours contact number or person...so if you loose service, which happened quite often with them, you had to wait until the next business day to even have a hope of talking with someone. Most storms and many rains caused outages.

This weekend we were without service, yet again and called to hear a recording stating that service would be down until the 21st at the soonest. When calling during business hours only a recording was available. NO HUMAN contact was offered. Their website isn't up and only one phone number is offered to the clients.

I was able to get access to what sounds like a voicemail by pressing the # key and left a request to be called back. No one had called back through Tuesday but I left a few more messages just in case.

Late Tuesday I got through when it sounded like someone picked up the phone to place a call (there was the sound of phone keys being pushed). When the startled called notice there was someone one the line she spoke for a moment but refused to explain the terrible lack of service. When pressed she told me I could cancel my account anytime. When I asked "How???? since you won't answer the phone she hung up saying she was too busy.

I am afraid the owner is about to abscond with any money he has there and close up shop.
