The Saline County Sheriff's Office provides a variety of law enforcement solutions to the general public. It offers services to the citizens of Saline County in Arkansas. The office covers an area of more than 750 square miles and serves a population of over 100,000 citizens. Its duties include enforcing the state and federal laws, traffic control, court bailiffs, and serving civil and criminal legal papers. The office operates criminal investigation, narcotics enforcement and domestic violence units, as well as a substation and patrol, warrants and civil division. It additionally maintains a detention facility that house prisoners for Benton, Bryant, Traskwood, Shannon Hills, Haskell and Bauxite police departments. The office has a staff of nearly 45 deputies and approximately 20 detention officers. The Saline County Sheriff's Office is a part of the government of Saline County.
