Berrien County Health Department, located in Benton Harbor, Mich., takes steps to prevent disease and protect the health of the community of Berrien County. The department continuously evaluates the community-wide health needs, with emphasis on vulnerable areas. The evaluation is done through the development of comprehensive population-based health policies, both personal and environmental, and through collaboration and cooperation will all health care organizations and the community to provide health services.
