Provided by YP.comI took my truck to Tire Time to have the motor changed. They told me that they were qualified/certified to remove old motor and put in new motor. When changing the motor they dropped the motor inside the motor compartment of truck (the motor was too heavy for their engine hoist and it broke). This caused extensive damage to my truck. The air conditioning condenser was crushed, oil pan damaged, transmission damaged, plus many other small items damaged. Tire Time put the truck back together without fixing anything. They just tried to hide the damage. When I picked the truck up I paid for it and left with the truck. I went a few miles down the road and the transmission locked up and the clutch exploded. I called a wrecker to take the truck back to Tire Time and they said they would repair truck. This is when I discovered all the other damage. The wrecker operator pointed out all the problems with the truck. After finding out all the damage Tire Time did to my truck (air cond., bottom of oil pan crushed, transmission input shaft damaged, cut wires, damaged trim, missing oil dipstick missing oil fill cap, broken cover to motor, and missing battery hold down clamps) they decided not to fix anything. Their reasoning for not doing any repairs is it is not their fault the engine lift broke, so they are not responsible for the damage done to my truck. I drove my truck to Tire Time and paid $1700.00 to get the motors switched around. I now have about $5000.00 (pull motor again to replace crushed leaking oil pan, replace transmission, replace air cond. condenser, replace oil dipstick, replace battery hold down clamps, repair electrical wiring, repair engine firewall, and wrecker bills) repair bill ahead of me to get my truck back on the road.
Very Unhappy Customer!!
