Provided by YP.comI generally do not like to second-guess EMS but when a call comes in a person has fallen and is bleeding it seems like you would take less than 30 minutes to travel 2 miles for an ambulance then show up casually without lights or sirens and then casually take care of the patient at the scene and casually leaves the residence to go back to the hospital less than 2 miles away but on this instance I can tell you the Marshall county EMS in Benton Kentucky did a horrible job ....
then on the scene the paramedic ripped the blankets off the 80 yr old patient ..... to do a simple assessment, never put them back on, my wife recovered the blankets to cover the victim up.. ... it was 59 degrees and windy the patient was shivering and they didn’t act like they cared.....
I gave them an assessment weak and thready pulse, pupils sluggish reactive, varying BP, emesisx3, and they acted like i had 3 heads....
they never used a transfer board or sheet to pick up the patient off the ground just lifted him up as a sack of dog food..... n
they then took 2 or 3 minutes to leave the residence with no hurry no lights no sirens just a casual sunday drive...... If time is Tissue,…. Then you a goner in Benton KY
