Benton High School, serving more than 600 students annually, is one of the schools in the Bossier Parish School System, with Benton Elementary and Middle School as feeder schools. BHS, based in Benton, La., offers a wide variety of subjects, including English, fine arts, foreign language, history, social studies, library media center, mathematics, physical education, science and vocational education. The high school also provides a range of sporting activities, such as baseball, basketball, bowling, cheerleading, cross-country, dance line, football, golf, softball, swimming, tennis, wrestling and track and field events. Benton High s extracurricular activities and clubs include band, debate, drama, ring staff, rodeo, teenage republicans and student council.
