Just wrapped up my legal matter with H&S and the resolution was perfect. Everyone at Hood & Stacy worked hard for me and was attentive to my requests. Very good law firm.

This firm did a great job on my case. Reliable, effective and obtained me a favorable outcome. They were fair and responsive to my requests. I highly recommend Hood & Stacy.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation’s consumer protection agency, enforces the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), which prohibits debt collectors from using abusive, unfair, or deceptive practices to collect from you.This would pertain to garnishing the account of a 'family' member's account 'of' the actual 'debtor'!!! My daughter, a college student went to get money from her bank to pay her rent 'on' the due date, only to find that Hood & Stacy had garnished her account!!!!! Putting her in an overdrawn status and late for her rent payment which will now incur a $90 late fee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No one (debtor) wants their account garnished, but when anyone would dare go into an Innocent college student's account without authorization, that's really taking it too far. Shannon, @ H&S, was cordial and instructed me to get my daughter's bank statements and fax to H&S to attention: Phyillis. We did that immediately (one hour before H&S's Atlantic closing time of 5:00pm). We'll although they took the money out of my daughter's acct. PROMPTLY, they closed 30min (at least) early due to the 4th/July weekend! Violence is NEVER wrong, but I understand why some people snap. My daughter is now a Senior, has maintained at least a 3.5 gpa in spite of a full-time schedule, athletics, injuries, and working a job for 70% of the year. She is #7 of her sister and brothers and my debt and my bank account has nothing to do with my child. I expect to pay H&S back in a year, it's what I'm to do. I also expect H&S to correct the problem they've created (late rent payment WITH late fee, and overdraft charges, etc.) for my college student/daughter.

Worst law firm ever. Very rude. Very unprofessional. Steep prices. Would not recommend using this law firm.
