This is a great place to stay, new owners took over in 2010 and they were the most friendliest people ever! They personaly came around to each campsite and cabin and spoke with the guest's. We waited anxiously over the winter to get back up there and check out all the new changes. Unfortuanetly when I went to the website, it stated that they were not able to have campsites because of the DNRE regulations. This is such crap!! These people gave us something to look forward to each year and now they have to deal with the restrictions, even though it was a campground for 15 years prior to them taking over ownership! On the plus side they have invested a lot of time & money into the cabins and motels. They have purchased all new linens and furniture and they look great :) I feel terrible for Jack & Arlene because we seen the joy in there eyes when they talked about the changes to come. Now it seems like there dreams were ripped away from them. Michigan needs these small business's. Folks from Michigan and all over need this resort to keep going! The best salmon fishing is at this resort, this is a place were people come together and enjoy there time and share stories.
