School ProfileArchway is a K-8, coeducational, independent school located on two campuses, one in North Oakland and one in Berkeley. We are conveniently located near popular East Bay areas of commerce including Piedmont Avenue and Shattuck's Gourmet ghetto. We are a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Trustees. We are accredited through the California Association of Independent Schools and a member of both the East Bay Independent School Association and the National Association of Independent Schools.Archway's Lower Campus in North Oakland houses our K-4th grade students. Comprised of three unique and warm classroom buildings, the lower campus is a thriving elementary community that emphasizes multi-age, project based learning. Students enjoy a wide range of enrichment classes weekly including Spanish, Music, PE, Music, and Visual Arts.
