Finfine is the best Ethiopian restaurant I've ever visited, and I've tried Ethiopian restaurants from coast to coast. The food is delicate and flavorful as it should be, the menu is extensive and varied with both tender meat dishes and wonderful vegetarian dishes as well. The injera is always fresh, tender, warm and plentiful. The service is impeccable, and if you return more than once they remember you. We're always greeted with a smile and they remembered that my wife had surgery planned the last time we were there and inquired about her health, even though it was four months later when we returned. It's cozy and uncrowded. This has become my favorite bay area restaurant by far with the only drawback being the parking difficulties in Berkeley. I highly recommend Finfine and give it top billing in any dinner situation.
