He is a great motivator - always enthusiastic, and very knowledgable about the body and about how to personalize workouts depending on your fitness level and your goals.
I was a walk-by about six months ago, and since they offer a free evaluation I decided to give it a shot. They assessed my posture, how I walk, run, and quickly were able to tell where my strengths and weaknesses were. It's a small, personal training studio (with big-gym equipment, just less of it). As a client you get to use the gym whenever you want, whether it's just to use the elliptical or treadmill for 30 minutes or to use the many weight machines for a full-length workout. Someone is always there to say hi, and all the trainers make it a point to learn your name so they can offer help/motivation if needed.
Basically, I always, always look forward to our sessions, and I'm excited to keep working together for the months to come!! So if you want an individualized work out and nutrition plan, a supportive group of professional, knowledgable trainers, and a sense of community, I recommend Strong Island Fitness.
