Good prices, decent selection

There's 2 main supermarkets in Berkeley Heights - Stop & Shop and King's. Of the 2, S&S has the best prices. The aisles are also laid out much better than King's.



The real difference is in the selection of foods offered by both. King's has a much better seafood and meats departments, slightly better choices in their fresh produce area, plus they offer a few other food items not found at S&S. Then again, S&S also has items not offered at King's.



I prefer the Dairy section at S&S over the one at King's. The generic S&S store-brand foods are as good, if not better, than their brand-name counterparts and much better prices. The cereal is only $1/box and I was surprised at first how much more I liked each of the different S&S cereals over the regular versions.



Both stores are convenient, but if you're on a budget I'd say stick with Stop & Shop.
